LIBS 2280 Literature for Children
Wide reading and discussion of the literature for children is emphasized. Books that have won recognition as distinguished contributions to the American literature for children are examined. The selection of books for school, home and public library is considered. Besides becoming acquainted with a wide sampling of children's literature, students also establish criteria for evaluation.
