SLP 502 Childhood Language and Literacy Disorders

Exploration of current definitions, assessments, and interventions for children with language deviations ranging from infants to adolescents. Emphasis on language development as it pertains to assessment, intervention, and educational effects. Additional considerations such as multicultural issues, caregiver and peer interactions/training, and the SLPs diverse role will be discussed.
