Business Administration: Accounting (B.S.)

The accounting major is designed with three primary objectives in mind: 1) to prepare students who intend to enter the fields of public or private accounting with an adequate background to become effective practitioners, 2) to educate students to become highly qualified professionals in great demand in today’s business world, 3) to help provide students with the necessary skills, abilities, and educational backgrounds to sit for the C.P.A. examinations. Please note that students wishing to become a licensed C.P.A must complete additional college coursework to total 150 credit hours in addition to passing the C.P.A. exam and completing one year of work experience.
