BIO 356 Parasitology

Parasitic protozoa, flatworms, roundworms, and arthropods of medical importance, with emphasis on recognition and identification of human parasites. Laboratory studies of parasites, with emphasis on recognition and disease relationships. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week. For biology majors and minors, majors in biology teacher education, students in pre-professional programs, and advanced students in the health professions.
