SPED 544 Art, Disability & Therapy
This course provides an overview of art therapy theory, assessments and techniques addressing student needs with physical, cognitive, medical, and mental disabilities. Students will study the history and development of art therapy and its applications. The course is designed to be multi-modal in its literary and ethical exposure. It will further include explorations of the therapeutic aspects and
concerns in art therapy for the child with disabilities.
