GBUS 570 Healthcare Law and Ethics
This course introduces MBA students to the legal issues they are likely to face in managing a health care organization. Topics include patients' rights, antitrust, institutional liability, health insurance, standards of care and employee relations. In addition, the course will introduce legal principles affecting how health care institutions are operated, how legal rules and doctrine are formulated, federal and state regulations and how to interact effectively with attorneys.
