EDUC 559 Advocacy, Communication & Public Policy

This course provides an overview of advocating and communicating the needs of groups of people and recommendations for meeting those needs with the goal of influencing public decision making systems. Particular attention will be given to telling an impactful story, effective methods of advocacy, and connecting with local, state, and national decision-makers.
