ATC 518 Supervised Practicum

The practicum is an opportunity for students to apply classroom learning to real world concerns. Students will provide counseling services to bona fide clients and groups under the direction of a graduate faculty member who is a licensed professional counselor or related mental health professional. This course includes critiquing of counseling either observed or recorded on audio or video tape. Students will also pursue professional development through supervision, accessing current art therapy literature, research, best practices, and continuing educational activities to inform clinical practice. (100 hours)
