TEM 401 Legal Issues:Hosp, Tour, Event
Examines legal aspects of tourism-related practices and organizations, including transportation, hotels, restaurants, and other facilities. Uses case study approach to develop understanding of tort and contract liability as it applies to hospitality and tourism businesses and the planning and management of events. Emphasizes a managerial approach to solving or avoiding potential legal problems. Prerequisite: TEM 300
