SOC 380 Sociology Of Education
Discusses ways in which social dynamics impacted the development of the US education system, along with current trends in the system. Examines US inequality is related to race, social class, gender, sexuality, and disability, including historical and contemporary debates and issues. Compares the social context of the US educational system with a social context that will lead to other educational systems around the world.
