READ 417 Lang Arts M&M for Elem Tchrs
Study of the methods and materials in teaching and evaluating the information and communication skills of listening, speaking, writing, viewing, reading, thinking, and visually representing. Will include scientifically-based reading research and the 21st Century Learning Skills of information and media literacy, communication skills (oral, written, and multimedia skills), critical and systems thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and self-directing skills. Information, practice, and application strategies of information and communication technologies and assessment tools are integrated throughout the course.
