DH 381 Clin Dental Hygiene III Lab
Students meet for three, four-hour clinic/laboratory sessions weekly. Clinical and laboratory experience for the continued competency development of clinical dental hygiene skills is provided. Emphasis is placed on the implementation of a care plan developed with the individualized needs of the patient. Clinical competency in the techniques of ultrasonic scalers, oral irrigation, PSR and sealant application is required. Must be Associate degree-seeking DH student.
