ART 387 Pre-press Production
This course provides comprehensive instruction in the production of print projects, from prepress to press. Topics include terminology, process, calibration, color correction, separations, proofing, full-color, spot color, print-on-demand, and various trapping methods. Field trips to a printer and an electronic prepress facility keep the course up to date with the latest print production technologies. Prerequisites: Art 205, 283, 286, 288 and 383.
