ENG 360 Creative Writing-Poetry
A process approach to writing poetry. Special attention given to traditional metrics, oriental forms, and free verse. Imagery, symbolism, and structure emphasized. Students discuss one another's poetry in class and prepare a manuscript as the semester project. Readings in modern and contemorary poets assigned.
