PAFF 6374 Directed Research
A student works with a professor on a topic that is mutually agreed upon by the student and the professor. This course is only recommended for students who have a well-developed topic and can work well independently. This course should be reserved for unusual circumstances, and the student should submit their topic proposal and reasons for need in a Directed Research course in writing to the Graduate Program Coordinator. A student should be limited to one (1) Directed Research course on their transcript. The supervising faculty may require the student to sign their written proposal and a completion timeline.

Approval of the Graduate Advisor.
