Child Development Center

The Child Development Center provides students, faculty, and staff with access to affordable child care and early education for their children, ages 3 months to 5 years old. The Child Development Center offers full-time care between the hours of Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Student parents are enabled to achieve their pursuit for academic and career success with confidence that their child is receiving quality childcare and education.

To help students stay focused on their studies and graduation goals, the U.S. Department of Education awarded the Child Development Center the Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grant, which assists Pell Grant-eligible, low-income UTRGV students with the cost of childcare services.
