PHYS 4390 Computational Methods for Engineers and Physicists

This is an introduction to the techniques and use of computers to solve engineering and physical problems. The topics covered include the study of finite difference methods, the implementation of linear algebra problems to solve systems of equations, and the use of Monte Carlo methods, spectrum analysis, and techniques of scientific visualization will be covered.
