PHAS 5121 Infectious Disease Module

This course covers the mechanisms of microbial pathogenicity and common organisms associated with specific infectious diseases. Organisms covered include bacteria, fungi, parasites, mycoplasmas, rickettsias, chlamydias, spirochetes, vibrios, and viruses. Emphasis is given on how to approach a patient with a known or suspected infectious disease.
