EDBE 5310 Bilingual Education and the Adolescent Learner

Participants learn about the cognitive, social, family and community characteristics of the adolescent bilingual learner, including recent immigrants, transnational students, and students from heritage language communities. The focus will be on understanding these learners from as asset perspective and examining their linguistic knowledge and needs. This course will be taught in Spanish.
