THE 220 Religious Traditions and Cultures
This course evaluates ancient and contemporary notions of religion and introduces the anthropological origins of belief in God or gods. World religious and philosophical traditions (e.g., Hindu, Buddhism, Islamic, etc.) are analyzed and explored in relation to the Christian tradition. Classes may be taught in an in-class, hybrid, or online format. Some designated hybrid and online courses have set times that require virtual participation. (May be taught concurrently with THE 648)
