EXL 817 Leading Globally Diverse Organizations
This course provides foundational information concerning our multicultural society as diversity poses both challenges and opportunities within the workplace. Technology, globalization, human movements, and the explosion of information serve as the catalyst for a rapidly changing world and workplace environment. This course will help the student to develop awareness of these challenges and opportunities and also help him or her develop strategies designed to manage and leverage workplace diversity. Students will explore the importance of learning and understanding cultural similarities and differences and ideally in this course come to deeply understand that humans are more alike than unalike.
