EDG 604A The Learner with Special Needs (Advanced)

This course includes a survey of all areas of exceptionality (e.g., mental, physical, psychological, and social characteristics of each group) with special emphasis on educational and instructional management. This course is a comprehensive study of the identification and specific characteristics of the learner with special needs. Advanced studies include in-depth research of each exceptionality, legal cases, and implications associated with the education of special needs students.
