COU 647 Gestalt Therapy
This course addresses the philosophy and implementation of gestalt theory in couseling. The history of the development of gestalt theory is examined, as well as the ways the theory has evolved up to the present. The course is taught in an experiential format where students practice various gestalt interventions and learn how to create gestalt experiments with their clients. The use of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) in conjunction with gestalt therapy is demonstrated.
