COU 601N Introduction to Techniques of Professional Counseling

With an emphasis on Rogerian theory, this course promotes the assessment and application of basic person-centered skills necessary for professional development and success. Personality, behavior, and skill-focused measures are used to assess a fundamental ability to appropriately provide mental health services to a diverse population.
