Associate of Arts Degree
Program Description
The Associate of Arts (AA) degree program of study is intended to encourage exploration of academic options, provide a strong general education component, and prepare students to initiate upper-division work in baccalaureate programs or prepare for employment. A minimum of 61 credit hours are required for completion of an associate degree. Courses can only be used once in this program.

Arts and Humanities – 12 credits – 6 credits required Native Language
Social Sciences – 12 credits required - Choose From:
Health and Wellness – 2 credits
Math, Science and Engineering – 8 credits
One Laboratory Science courses are required – 4 credits (Can include BIOL 111)
One Math course required - 4 credits
Technology – 3 credits
First Year Experience

Total Credit Hours: 61
*Academic Skills Courses (ASC) below 100 or MATH 100 & Math 102 will not fulfill General Education requirements and cannot be included in the semester hours required for an Associate of Arts degree.
Earn a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 (“C” average).
