The Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership, with a concentration in School Business Administration, is a 36-credit program that prepares graduates to earn school business administrator endorsement. This degree provides a curriculum that encompasses the academic and professional areas of business and management while meeting the academic requirements for the New Jersey Department of Education School Business administrator endorsement. Candidates must complete a 150 hour internship in a school business office. For more information on these and other requirements, please refer to State of New Jersey website.
The School Business Administration concentration enables students to earn a MA degree in Educational Leadership that authorizes the holder to be employed as the chief financial officer of a school district in public schools in grades preschool through grade 12. Positions include assistant superintendent for business and school business administrator.
NOTE: An annual subscription to an electronic portfolio service, as designated by the program, must be maintained to complete the required personal electronic portfolio.
