FFP1505 Fire Prevention Practices (AS)
This course places emphasis on and provides fundamental knowledge of the fire prevention field. Topics include history and philosophy of fire prevention; organization and operation of a fire prevention bureau; use, application, and enforcement of model building and fire prevention codes and standards; plans review; various aspects of the fire inspection process; fire and life safety education; and fire investigation.
