ACR0549 HVAC Systems: Equipment Operation (CCP)
Prerequisite: ACR0501 (with a grade of C or higher)
Corequisites: VPI0100, VPI0200, VPI0300
This course provides an in-depth exploration of key technical skills required in the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC) industry. Students will learn to analyze fluids, pressures, refrigerants, and relevant industry codes. The course also covers evaluating and maintaining HVAC system components and accessories. Additionally, students will gain hands-on experience in fabricating and servicing piping, tubing, and fittings and will develop proficiency in operating mechanical refrigeration servicing and testing equipment. This practical training prepares students for real-world challenges in the HVAC field.
