CHEM 437 Physical Chemistry I

An introduction to modern physical chemistry including classical thermodynamics, statistical thermodynamics, equilibrium, and kinetics. Laboratory experiments will demonstrate principles of chemical thermodynamics and kinetics. Experiments will be performed every 3-4 weeks, with interceding time allowed for discussion, data analysis and writing.
