ART 224 Dyeing, Printing, and Manipulating Fabric

Learning the techniques of controlled dyeing of fabric will be the core of this course. Experimentation with various surface processes such as shibori, batik, resist dyeing, printing, devore' burn out techniques and direct painting on cloth will be explored.
