NUR 135 Concepts for the Professional Role of the Nurse II

This course introduces new concepts and builds on previously learned concepts integral to the role of the professional nurse in providing patient-centered holistic care. New concepts emphasized include evidence based practice, technology and informatics, health care quality and safety, palliative care, and health disparities. The focus of the course is the impact of social issues on health care outcomes.
