Master of Health Administration Fast Track
Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration (BSHCA), minor in Healthcare Administration (HCA minor), or Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging (BSMI) may be eligible to take six credit hours of designated graduate level coursework within the 500 level courses (see table below) to meet requirements of their undergraduate degree.
To be eligible, students must meet the following requirements:
- Senior status (90 or more credit hours) at the time students take graduate coursework.
- Cumulative college GPA of 3.5 or higher at the time of request.
- Complete the Graduate Course Request form and obtain permission from students’ academic advisor, undergraduate program director, and the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program director.
- Meet all other course pre-requisites and any other required conditions.
After successful completion, the coursework taken will be used to meet program specific requirements for Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, minor in Healthcare Administration, or Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging, and be counted toward the undergraduate total of 120 credit hours.
Students receiving a grade of “B” or better may have the graduate course(s), identified in the table below, waived from the MHA degree requirements. Completion of graduate coursework does not imply acceptance into a graduate program, and all other graduate program admission requirements apply.
Undergraduate students taking graduate courses will be charged the undergraduate tuition rate.
