Student Life

Student Life is committed to students’ development and college success through intentional co-curricular engagement experiences. The office provides oversight for the Student Council (SC) and its affiliated student organizations, leadership programs, New Student Orientation (NSO), and campus-wide programming and recognition events.

  • Student Council (SC) – This is the governing organization of the Mercy College of Ohio student body. SC has a fiscal responsibility and accountability for the student activity fee.
  • Student Organizations– Active membership in student organizations is an excellent way for students to meet and work with peers, further enhance leadership skills, and positively contribute to the Mercy College community. Additional information about current and active organizations is available at: mercycollege.edu/student-affairs/student-life/government.
  • Co-curricular Programs - These programs complement classroom learning by integrating educational experiences, like leadership workshops, service-learning, and academic clubs to enhance student development.
  • New Student Orientation (NSO) – The NSO program prepares new Mercy College students for success in their academic endeavors and provides an opportunity to learn more about the campus community. Additional NSO information can be found at mercycollege.edu/admissions/admitted/soar-toledo.
