PTA2224 Neurological Rehabilitation
Students will gain knowledge and skills necessary to treat clients with neurological disorders from CVA, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and birth defects. The lecture and lab format is used to explore sensory and reflex integration, developmental sequence, and neonatal care. Use of PNF and NDT techniques in the treatment of neurological patients are discussed and practiced in a lab setting. (3 hrs lecture/3 hrs lab)
