MET2100 Fluid Power
In this course, hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power applications are used to cover many topics in the subject of fluid mechanics. Through the study of these systems and the various components involved, the student will not only gain an understanding of the basic principles of fluid statics and dynamics, but will also learn to create and read fluid power schematics, size and select components, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Regular hands-on lab exercises will reinforce classroom discussions.
