CIT2760 Ethical Hacking and Defense

The course focuses on looking at threats and vlunerabilities facing networks and information systems. Students will explore how attacks are launched and how to protect networks and systems from those attacks. Topics covered will include legal issues, malware, network attacks, wireless network hacking, cryptography and vulnerabilities along with current issues. This is a capstone course for the Cyber Security degree. 3 Cr Hrs. Course Requirement(s): CIT1810. CIT2632 can be taken before or concurrently with this course.
