MATH 0930 Intermediate Algebra
This course prepares students for
MATH 1400 or
MATH 1450. Topics covered include operations involving polynomials and rational expressions, special products and factoring, solving equations and inequalities, exponents, radicals, systems of linear equations, graphing, and word problems. Prerequisite: Completion of
MATH 0920 or test into
MATH 0930 or higher. (3 lect.)

1. Factor trinomials
2. Simplify real and imaginary expressions
3. Perform elementary operations on real and imaginary expressions

5. Solve quadratic equations algebraically and graphically
