ITEC 2360 Teaching With Technology
This class will equip the student with the information, skills, and insights necessary for successful integration of computer-based technologies in classroom teaching. Through hands-on experience with word processing, desktop publishing, databases, spreadsheets, specialized course-specific software, Internet, multi-media, and distance-education technology, the student will become knowledgeable about computer-assisted instruction. Prerequisites: Completion of EDFD 2020 or EDEC 1020 (3 lect.)

In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:

4. Examine online resources for teaching students how to access and assess online information.
5. Use educational software and web-based tools to promote problem solving and inquiry learning.
6. Use communication technologies to enhance learning through interactive information exchanges and networking.
7. Use presentation tools and multimedia technologies to present information.
8. Investigate assistive technologies that differentiate instruction to promote learning success for all students.
