Analyze the impact of culture, family structure, and socio-economic status on parents’ involvement in children’s education and children’s academic success trajectory.
Apply the necessary skills, knowledge, and sensitivity to form respectful, reciprocal relationships with parents from diverse backgrounds and social contexts.
Analyze strategies for creating healthy, respectful, supportive, and challenging learning environments that model and affirm anti-bias perspectives.
Describe the impact of culture, home language, individual abilities or disabilities, family context, and community on children’s development and learning.
Examine modern trends and contemporary issues influencing families with young children in educational settings.
Analyze the role of early childhood professionals as informed advocates for sound educational practices and policies.
