NUR 328 Professional Nursing Concepts II

This is the second course in a four-part series focusing on the professional roles and responsibilities of the nurse. Emphasis is placed on family dynamics and the impact of cultural and societal factors and health policies on health promotion and disease prevention across diverse health settings. Students will explore informatics, telehealth, and health care technologies while addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families, including palliative care. Clinical experiences provide opportunities to focus on wellness and apply these concepts in primary care and community-based settings.
