ENVS-385 Marine Special Topics
This course explores advanced and emerging topics in marine science with a focus on any of the physical, chemical, biological, and/or geological processes that shape the marine environment. Students will examine rotating specialized areas by semester such as marine conservation, ocean–atmosphere interactions, coastal dynamics, marine pollution, or the impacts of climate change on ocean ecosystems. Emphasis is placed on current research, data interpretation, and scientific communication. Specific topics and case studies vary by semester according to faculty expertise and recent developments in the field.
