HCA 518 Healthcare Project Management
This course will help students understand why healthcare organizations develop formal project management processes. Students will learn concepts and techniques useful in healthcare-related projects. Course topics include project initiation, planning, scope, processes, timeline, cost and risk management, evaluation of progress/performance, and project team management. Students will learn how to prepare themselves for the PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification exams.
