SOC2400 Gender Studies

This course is designed to introduce students to the sociological study of gender identity and gendered representation. It will explore sex and gender as they relate to the major social institutions and how the experiences differ for men and women. In addition, this course illuminates the intersection of gender, race, social class and sexual orientation in our diverse world.
