CNTK 1515 Comm. & Employability Skills
This course is designed to provide students with techniques for communication effectively with co-workers and supervisors and includes the importance of verbal and written information and instructions on the job. The course also identifies the roles of individuals and companies in the construction industry and introduces students to critical thinking, problem-solving skills, computer systems, and industry applications. Relationship skills, effective self-presentation, and key workplace issues, such as sexual harassment, stress, and substance abuse are studied. Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in
