ENGL 2320 American Literature II

Beginning with the aftermath of the Civil War, this course examines the works of selected writers up to the present, in the context of social, poli- tical and economic changes. Through reading, writing, and discussion of texts and biography, students consider how ideas and movements influ- enced and were influenced by American literature. This course is offered on an infrequent basis; check with English Department for availability. Prerequisites: Completion of ENGL 1020 or permission of instructor (3 lect.)
